Real-Time Alerts
Get instant visual and audio notifications the moment your detector picks up a signal. rDetect displays all the information you need at a glance:
- Signal Strength - Proximity meter and bar graph showing threat intensity
- Band & Frequency - X, K, Ka, MRCD, MRCT and Gatso with the measured frequency to three decimals, plus Laser

- BSM Filtering - Suppresses blind spot monitor interference from nearby vehicles

False Positive Scoring
Every alert rDetect logs is scored for how likely it was to be real, so you can tell a patrol car from a supermarket door:
- Four plain tiers - High Confidence Threat, Likely Real, Uncertain, or Likely False Positive, each with its own glyph so it reads without color
- Reads the road - Posted limit, road class, commercial and school zones, and downhill grade all move the score
- Reads your driving - Muting an alert by hand pushes it toward false; braking pushes it toward real
- Shows its work - Tap any score for a breakdown of every rule that fired and by how much
- One-tap lockout - An alert in the Likely False Positive tier offers to become a GPS lockout on the spot

Route-Aware Threat Scan
rDetect connects navigation to detection: it scans the route you're about to drive and shows enforcement before you reach it.
- Corridor scan — your logged alert spots from the last 90 days and GPS lockouts along the route, plus the community cameras already loaded around you
- Markers ahead — threats dropped on the map in your direction of travel
- Community cameras — sourced from OpenStreetMap and refreshed as you drive
- Safest route — every alternate is scanned too, so the picker shows each one's threat rating and flags the quietest with the trade-off spelled out: "+4 min · 9 fewer threats"
- Threats ahead, spoken — a rail above the guidance card counts down the next few corridor threats by band and distance, and the nearest is announced as you close within a mile

GPS Lockouts
Automatically learn and suppress false alert locations. rDetect goes beyond basic lockouts with continuous tuning and sharing:
- Auto-Learning - Lockouts form after repeated encounters, counted once per location per day, so a spot takes two or three separate days to lock in
- Continuous Tuning - Lockout positions and frequencies refine themselves over time
- Nearby Falses Counter - See how many known false locations are nearby on the dashboard
- Pinned to the Frequency - Lock out an alert and rDetect silences the exact frequency you saw, not the whole band, with a tolerance window sized per band that tunes itself as the source drifts

Points of Interest
Mark and get alerted to locations that matter. POIs give you advance warning for spots your detector can't see:

Private by Design
No account, no ads, and no cross-app tracking. Your alerts, lockouts, POIs and profiles live on your device and in your own private iCloud database — we have no access to it. Community camera and speed-limit lookups send your approximate position, rounded to about 110 metres, to OpenStreetMap's public servers; you can switch them off in Settings › Community Data. Anonymized false-positive analytics are off unless you turn them on.
